Cool spring fishing on the Bitterroot River
| Nick holding Elinor's beautiful trout |
In these photos are Rachel and Elinor. Rachel sent some of the photos in the slideshow, thank you!
And I think this was Elinor's first fly fishing experience. As you can see, she did well. So did others, it was a good few days on the Bitterroot.
See below for a slideshow.

Fly fishing the Blackfoot River with Judy and Irv
| Judy with her trout from the Blackfoot River, Montana. This was her last fish of the day! |
Judy has fished with Jack for many years but I think this is the first fishing photo we have gotten. It is a nice one! I also think Judy will be asking Jack to fish the Blackfoot River again. She was on fire. The fishing and the catching went very well.

Fly Fishing the Bitterroot with young friends
Irv and his daughter, Rachel, have fished with Wapiti Waters for many years. Today they brought friends, including young Chloe. Her photos tell a story of young friends seeing new things, learning new things and having a great time on the Bitterroot River. What a pleasure it is to share these things!

Father / Daughter Day Fly Fishing the West Fork of the Bitterroot in July
This was a special day on the West Fork of the Bitterroot with Irv and Rachel. They were all remembering friends and family, but that is another story. By special graces, they caught beautiful fish and had a wonderful day.

Cuttbow and Rainbow Trout on the Bitterroot River with Rachel Weismann-Tsukamoto
Wapiti Waters has been fishing like crazy with not much time for photos. Jack finally got in last night early enough for me to snag some photos.
This slide show is 3 photos taken on the Bitterroot river of Rachel Weissman-Tsukamoto, daughter of Irv Weissman and Ann Tsukamoto. They were at their home in the valley with family and friends, many of which are from Stanford University School of Medicine where Irv is Director of the Institute of Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine. Ann also works in stem cell research. Living in CA doesn't deter them from fishing. Irv grew up in Great Falls, MT and they come to their Montana home frequently to relax, enjoy mountain life and fish. It has been fun to watch Rachel as she and her love of fishing grow.
Libuse Jerabek, a colleague of Irv's, was here also, but we didn't get new photos. Here are a few from last fall.
