Fishing for big Carp with Eric

Jack was in Springfield, MO visiting his sister and mother recently and fished with Eric. They fished for carp and longnose gar (Lepisosteus osseus). Caught carp (huge carp), but only teased the gar. Fun time. Thanks Eric.

This is Wilson's Creek near Springfield. Jack was surprised at finding huge carp in this kind of water. Not very deep.

  3. Looking at how big the carp is, I can tell that Eric is certainly a skilled fisherman. Jack is lucky to have him as company in their fishing trip. Catching a carp as a big as that can definitely be considered an achievement. But I think the greatest achievement would be the fun and enjoyment you get while fishing! Maybe I’ll check Willson’s Creek for myself and see if I can also catch carp that big.
